Popular Music from the Victorian Era

Since 2007, Parlormuse has been introducing modern audiences to the nostalgic charm of Victorian popular music with its distinctive folk rock arrangements as well as through more traditional acoustic treatments. Whether it’s the rollicking energy and wistful romanticism found on its debut album, It’s Not The Coat Makes The Gentleman, or the quieter atmospheric piano songs found on the project’s two EP-length releases, A Day Before The Feast and Anything For A Quiet Life, the result is an endearing return to bygone days.
